My sto­ry is relat­ed to a for­tu­nate change of direc­tion: as a child I envi­sioned becom­ing a pri­ma­ry school Eng­lish teacher but, after approach­ing the world of Exec­u­tive Search, I nev­er left it.

Train­ing and learn­ing remain piv­otal aspects of my jour­ney. I still believe in the impor­tance of draw­ing inspi­ra­tion from the peo­ple around me, con­tin­u­al­ly seek­ing ideas to enhance my way of work­ing and to meet the needs of the busi­ness­es I sup­port in their search for lead­ers. This is what I would have want­ed to impart to chil­dren if I had become a teacher: that study­ing and method are impor­tant, but equal­ly cru­cial is the under­stand­ing that we can learn some­thing from any­one, in any cir­cum­stance.

Join­ing Glas­ford as a Senior Search Asso­ciate was also dri­ven by this desire for con­tin­u­ous improve­ment. What tru­ly cap­tured me was the focus on peo­ple, their desires, and their apti­tudes. And Glas­ford pays atten­tion not only to orga­ni­za­tions’ needs, assist­ing them in achiev­ing their objec­tives, but also to its own team mem­bers, who make it all pos­si­ble. Because it’s only through con­tin­u­ous per­son­al improve­ment that we can con­tribute to the evo­lu­tion of soci­ety and the peo­ple who sur­round us.
