Before approaching the IT world, I worked in the veterinary field for a few years, specializing in Animal Production: I was already involved in analyzing data and finding connections and patterns to optimize production processes. After a few years, I realized that organizations are not that different: technology makes business processes more efficient, and data are the main resource for doing so.
Over the years, I have experienced the technological evolution and digital transformation in organizations myself. A milestone was the introduction of Excel in the 1980s, which changed everything. In the upcoming years we will experience a similar revolution: Artificial Intelligence will change the way we work again. But AI will not defeat us, someone who will use AI better than we do will do.
With this awareness today, as Chief Information Officer of Glasford, my goal is to be ready. To do this, I am committed in finding new ways to make people and technology better interact, accompanying and facilitating the work of each team member and the communication between them. This means thoroughly understanding needs and areas requiring improvement, identifying and implementing the best tools to ensure functionality and connection. A process made up of successive and never conclusive steps, because any evolution is only possible through continuous improvement.
